WHY DID SONIC EXPO COME TO ATLANTA?
The promise to the Fan Jam Legacy
Sonic & SEGA Fan Jam was a fan convention started in Savannah, Georgia in 2014. The event was created to celebrate the legacy of Sonic the Hedgehog and SEGA’s rich history of video games and beloved franchises.
From 2014 to 2018, it brought together passionate fans, creators, and industry guests under one roof to share in the joy of everything SEGA. It came back for a final show in 2022.
Each event was filled with retro and modern SEGA games, community-led panels, cosplay, art, and unforgettable moments with special guests—from iconic voice actors to the artists and developers behind the games we grew up with.
Every Fan Jam became a love letter to SEGA’s rich history. With unforgettable guests like Ryan Drummond, Lisle Wilkerson, Tee Lopes, and Tyson Hesse. Fan Jam was built by the community, for the community! And it was a love letter to the world of SEGA and the fans who keep it alive.
Thank you for keeping the legacy alive!
